Lenten blessings and God’s Love  to each of you and those you love,

This is one of my favorite poems:

Friendship is a priceless gift, that cannot be bought or sold,
But its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold —
For gold is cold and lifeless, It can neither see nor hear,
And in the time of trouble, it is powerless to cheer —
It has no ears to listen, no heart to understand,
It cannot bring you comfort, or reach out a helping hand—
So when you ask God for a Gift, be thankful if He sends,
Not diamonds, pearls, or riches, BUT THE LOVE of a  true friend

                                                                          ~Helen Steiner Rice

The gift of friendship is a gift from God and it is meant to be shared.  Our church is growing in God’s Love!  My constant prayer  for our church family, members and friends of  Stow Community UCC, is that many of you will come home for the Easter Season, renewing the friendships that were  shared in the past.

I hope that we can make time for Christ together.  C. S. Lewis wrote so many years ago, that “the church is a business and if the JOY it brings  is the serious business of Heaven,  then  HOPE must be the serious business of the church.”

With the changing of time next week-end, where we will  spring ahead for the summer, let us spring ahead in our devotion to God by helping others become one in Christ.

I am  looking forward to you and yours joining us on Sunday morning at 10:30.

Praying that you will come in peace and serve the Lord,

W. James Case, Pastor
