Blessings and God’s Love to each of you,

We have a bird feeder in the backyard that gets filled with birdseed all winter long and into the spring.  Our son-in-law owns a Wildlife Gardens store.  Bill tells us what we should feed the birds that hang around throughout the year.  But we do slow down–just a little–with the feeding in the summer, when the birds practice “shopping” on their own.

They just may be a reminder to all people in the congregation.  We all need to be fed regularly.  And, when we are fed, and it’s good “GOD” food, we will want to come back for more.  My prayer is that you will want to come back for more each and every Sunday . . .even in the summer.

This month of May, as we start anew together, I thank you all for giving me the opportunity and honor to bring some newness to you in the form of sermons, in the form of compassion, and in the form of God’s love.

I am looking forward to having new friends and past members coming to see, “What’s happening in the Community Church in Stow?”.  As the May flowers grace our gardens and the flowering trees form beautiful archways across many of our streets in Stow, Munroe Falls, Kent, Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, and Tallmadge, we open our doors to all who want to hear God’s Word.

That’s our goal and that is my continued prayer that together, we will

get to know one another,

to bring others to hear the Word,

and to grow, grow, grow–

as individuals and as a congregation.

This spring, for the third year in a row, God put a birds’ nest on the light outside our bedroom window.  This means my day starts when the bird’s day starts–early!  Know that I’m here for you, whether you rise with the birds or sleep in!

Happy Springtime and God’s blessings to you all!
